MissionThe Libre Group Mission Statement The Libre Group's mission is to be the premier provider of services to organizations looking to leverage the power of Open Source solutions. We promote innovation in computer software by encouraging the use of Open Source applications whenever possible, and disseminate the information and skills necessary to implement them. The Libre Group believes that businesses do not need to be subject to the whims of closed-source software vendors and their ever-changing licensing policies. Rather, our goal is to return control of the IT department to the business owner, by providing help in the deployment of best-of-breed, enterprise-level Open Source applications.
